Road Trip Part 3 – Sydney and Bondi Beach

After a quick rest and a tea at our rented apartment in Bondi, we set out to tackle Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Darling Harbour in only a few hours. Somehow, after a LOT of walking, we did it!

We walked from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour to meet Kirsty and Mark for dinner at The Malaya. Delicious Malaysian food!

The next morning Kath and I set off bright and early to tackle the Bondi to Coogee walk. This is a stunning tour takes you along the coast on top of cliffs, with several beach stops along the way. See here for more information. I highly suggest this 6km (one way) trek. Even in the extreme heat many people were jogging it!

We started out at the far side of Bondi Beach

We then worked our way along Bondi and stopped at the legal graffiti wall to admire the art.

Then onto the Bondi Baths and cliffs.20160219_091221

That night we met up with Ryan for a few drinks. It had been a few years and it was so good to see him. Here he is meeting Ollie for the first time (note the beer and terrified look on Ollie’s face).

IMG_2355 (1).jpgThe morning after…unfortunately Kath had to get on a plane to go home (sad face). Adam and I met up with Ryan again at the Bondi Farmers market. After a night out we thought we needed some green juice and chia pudding. Yum!

It was an amazing road trip and fun times spent with friends. Looking forward to our next adventures in Australia!
